More Information
We are developing Irish speech recognition technology for children, which will provide essential tools for those who rely on technology for their communication needs. To do this, we need as many recordings as possible from children who can read and speak Irish fluently at their age level. We need your voice!
Choose stories from your own age group and choose a dialect for the written texts. You will get a selection of stories to choose from.
We recommend that the young reader spends 15-30 minutes a day reading the stories on this site, sentence by sentence. We also highly recommend that a parent/guardian/teacher is present, to assist as necessary.
